What is the relationship between time and life?
I sought to explore the question through this project. I used water as a metaphor for flow of time with its fluidity and lack of directionality. Several forms of water and different stages in its life cycle were selected to represent the lines in the excerpt from a French monologue.
The book begins with a droplet and ends with it blending into the immense water body, hinting the idea of cycle in life. Time is not linear, but rather circular, and even spiral at times. It shares a duality of ephemerality and eternality.
